Job Descriptions
A & P MECHANIC – responsible for all engines, pneumatics, hydraulics, and flight control systems. All mechanics must be able to work in a noisy environment and must have commercial aircraft repair and overhaul experience.
Avionics Technician – responsible for all the electrical areas of the aircraft. Must be able to use various testing equipment to troubleshoot systems and must be able to read and understand blueprints.
Structure Mechanic – responsible for all the structures of an aircraft including maintenance, modification, and/or fabrication of parts. The mechanic must be able to read and understand blueprints, manuals, and references on how to repair, rebuild, modify, and/or fabricate parts or areas of an aircraft. Mechanic must be able to work with little or no supervision.
Composite Technician – responsible for the repair and/or overhaul of all the honeycomb and fiberglass panels of the aircraft.
